Mon, April 9 - Study of The 20007 Shift Report: Evidence of a World
Transforming

Seattle IONS will conduct an initial focused study of the ground breaking 2007 Shift
Report, an 81 page 2007 document of longitudinal research at IONS. The publication
was recently sent to all Shift in Action members. This
special report attempts tochart the transition IONS
believes is underway from a rigid, mechanistic, and materialistic worldview to
one that is built on a foundation of interconnectedness, cooperation, and the
intersection of science and spirituality. The learning module guides
participants through a carefully designed review of various sections of the report.
It is not necessary to have read the report to participate. The Shift Report
order form will be available at the event or you can download the form from our
web. IONS membership is not required to receive it.

mind change. A networking reception and dialoge with
representatives of various supporting organizations, on the theme of both the
science of peace and of transformation, will take place with
James before the event.

Emerging Science of Peace and Transformation

We will question our assumptions as we weave into our entangled space all that
we have learned in this quarter of our Shifting with Shift series. The thread
that we thoughtfully follow is from IONS Prez James O'Dea's
presentation on An Emerging Science of
Peace and Transformation as we integrate our learning from the recent April 9th
Study of the The 2007 Shift Report on Transformation:
Evidence of a World Transforming. (See above) We will engage in a collective
field of inquiry using the method of Bohmian dialogue.
The dialogue process elicits your experiences, thoughts, feelings, questions,
and visions about peace as you co-create with others a "quieting
space". Reflection, respect for diversity, the willingness to speak
without needing feedback, to hear without giving direct response are
distinctive to the dialogue process.
