Our Seattle IONS Community (IONS Northwest) would is implementing a commercial newsletter format for our local and regional news. After several years offering voluntary subscription on our e-list, we need a mailing service big enough to hold this enormous Seattle IONS community. Thanks for many years of sharing consciousness raising.
 
IONS Northwest has grown to become a regional hub for The Institute of Noetic Sciences, a 35 year old organization dedicated to exploring the frontiers of consciousness as it pertains to personal and collective transformation. 
 
This newsletter announces our local IONS and related community events, as well as relevant national and international happenings. We endeavor to respect the 
needs of members on this list with selective emailings.

Important Changes for Seattle IONS (IONS Northwest)
 
Well, It has finally happened...after more than 14 years of sending group news on AOL about Seattle IONS events, we are finally moving our protected e-list to this confidential newsletter service. 
 
Having participated with IONS Stewardship Councils, I can tell you that your 
involvement, both direct and indirect with this group, has made a huge difference in the world. It's a good time to say thank you for helping pioneer a regional hub for IONS. I hope you will continue to be part of our growth. 
 
The timing is good to remind you that the Seattle IONS email list is exclusive from the The Institute of Noetic Sciences members' list. Seattle IONS has gathered its members solely on requests from people attending our events over the years.
 
Our Seattle IONS team not only serves the Seattle community group, but the NW IONS Community 
Groups in 4 states and Canada, and the IONS global Community Network. We have never had a 
membership fee. It is our value to be inclusive of interested IONS members and anyone interested in participating in local conscious learning communities. We trust that many will eventually join The Institute of Noetic Sciences from the passion that stirs as a result of participating in our group.
 
You are receiving this email because at some point, over the years, you asked to be on Seattle IONS list, now IONS NW. We do not share our email addresses with anyone. 
 
It is my sincere hope with all these changes that this email reaches you. I hope that you opt to remain on the new list and even invite others to it. We love and appreciate all of you.

Awaken the Dreamer: Changing the Dream Symposium (12/09/06)

 
Tribes in the Amazon Rain Forest are crying out for us to heal the dream of this ailing planet. They want us to heal the dream of the North.
 
The Pachamama Alliance an organization advocating on behalf of a coalition of several South American indigenous tribes, offers an important interactive, multi-media event on 12/09/06 at the Evergreen School in Seattle.
 
These wise people of the Amazon, threatened by Western civilization know we are all at risk. They are calling to us to heal the dream of the North on their behalf and for the future of humanity.
 
This dynamic event, appealing to environmental, social justice, and all spiritual groups, invites people of all ages and backgrounds to an amazing entertaining and interactive, educational event. It is designed to shock, inspire and move participants.
 
Mark Dubois a NW local originator of Earth Day, facilitates the event in partnership with Jon Love, Program Director for the Pachamama Alliance. Awaken the Dreamer: Changing the Dream Symposium on 12/09/06 is hosted by a growing voluntary collaboration of several NW organizations. We are keeping fees minimal so all can be included. We will be updating the list of sponsors as we go.
 
Registration by 12/5/06 includes a complimentary organic lunch. Not only do we plan to share collective resources, but we will be lunching in community too.

On 11/27/06 7:15-9:15, Mark Dubois will introduce this important 12/09 globally organized event (East Shore Unitarian). He will also share his wisdom around 30 years experience working as a global activist for planetary consciousness raising. Mark Dubois Creates Consciousness for the 21st Century (11/27/06)

 
Current environmental and social justice endeavors are setting the stage for a mass awakening that holds the promise of creating a collective consciousness for the 21st Century. Citizens across the globe are finding their voice. Grass roots movements have paved the way with new levels of collaboration.
 
Mark Dubois will share his 30 year experience working with some of these national and international movements and how this has sparked his latest collaborative project of Awakening the Dreamer: Changing the Dream Symposium described above. Our events last week 11/10-11 with Seattle Healing Arts on Integral Health and Healing with Elliott Dacher MD went fabulously. The Friday evening introduction was extremely informative. The Saturday all day seminar for healthcare practitioners was experiential. It deeply impacted participants.
