From our mastery of fire to our creation of the Internet, humanity is a tool-making species.  But one of our greatest tools is often overlooked.  As global conditions seem to worsen on a daily basis and all the news looks like bad news, we forget that we have been gifted with consciousness.

 James O'Dea will discuss the science of consciousness, including intention, attention, and perception, and show how a major shift in worldviews, already underway, is creating new forms of meaning and new possibilities for action and change.

How can we use our own consciousness - this potent tool - to create global healing and transformation?  What would it mean to be skilled users of the most spectacular tool available?
