Dr. Suryani is a regal woman of wisdom. She is sponsoring, the IONS Bali
Conference on Quest for Global Healing with Desmond Tutu which begins Dec.
3 in Bali. Dr. Suryani, profoundly compassionate, is Chair of Psychiatry
on the medical faculty at Udayana University, the author of "Living in
Spirit and the Balinese people." She hosts a weekly TV program, writes a
newspaper column, and provides community meditation classes. She is a key
Balinese spokesperson on cultural issues.
Dr. Suryani recently conducted this plenary presentation at the IONS
ChildSpirit Conference in which she talks of an enlightened approach to
parenting and child rearing. She is also the mother of 8 sons. She
conducts a powerful meditation here that brings one back into the past,
into the giving and receiving of parenting and heals the transmitted
wounds of generations. This presentation is in audio format, but well
