Susan Burns directs The Institute of Noetic Sciences NW, a non profit organization which functions as a pioneering regional hub for The Institute of Noetic Sciences. She is also the WA State rep for IONS. Susan has been on the Stewardship Council at IONS (10 years), serving the needs of IONS community groups (300) and functioning as liaison with the staff/board. She currently serves the body of change leaders who provide mentoring to the IONS community group network. A member of IONS Network Council, a world wide body of state/country representatives, she has developed a global newsletter. Aside from founding and continuing to direct the large, greater Seattle IONS community group (10 + years) years), Susan Burns’ continuing frontier role has been to coordinate the Northwest Region Community IONS Community Groups, supporting leaders in 4 states: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Canada. This group offers annual leadership retreats as well as directing and supporting the NW IONS regional network. In this capacity, Susan is at the forefront of pioneering new administrative and leadership models for IONS.
Dedicated to providing an open
learning community for personal transformation and social change within
the local and regional community, Susan founded a leadership team which
provides inclusive outreach on behalf of IONS to the NW community at
large. Her Seattle community group is a platform for integrating diverse
interest groups in the NW bioregion. She coordinates various special focus
groups, including leadership and integral health, dedicated toward
building communities fostering new paradigm models for cooperative social
change. She speaks on several mental health and wellness issues and consults on leadership event planning. Find out more about her practice at www.feelingwhole.com. Check out Susan Burns' bio.
