Join IONS VP for Research and Education, Dr. Marilyn Mandala Schlitz, as she updates us on current research at the interface of science and spirituality. We will explore integral healing and its role in individual, social, and global transformation. We will discuss the ways that our understanding of healing may transform our lives and how we live them. Marilyn will also be available to sign her recent book, Consciousness & Healing: Integral Approaches to Mind Body Medicine. In addition to learning about healing and transformation, Marilyn will also share about IONS new strategic vision and our plans for the future. This event will serve both as a community awareness event and a fundraiser for the Institute of Noetic Sciences. Guests will be invited to contribute, if they are so inspired, but there is no minimum and no maximum, as well as no pressure. At the Institute of Noetic Sciences, we employ the rigor
of science, balanced by personal and collective wisdom, to support a shift
in consciousness that transforms present global conditions into a world
grounded in freedom, wisdom, and love. We serve an emerging movement of
globally conscious citizens dedicated to manifesting our highest
capacities. She served as a congressionally appointed Advisory
Member for the National Institutes of Health Center for Complementary and
Alternative Medicine, and is currently on the Editorial Board of
Alternative Therapies and Advances in Mind Body Medicine, the Board of
Trustees for the Esalen Institute and the Board of Directors for the
Institute of Noetic Sciences. She also serves on the Scientific Program
Committee for the Tucson Center for Consciousness Studies. |
