As we begin to face issues around sustainability, the tasks before us can seem overwhelming. Tonight we return to our regular format of evenings of dialogue around important topics. How we address troubling times is a vital topic, close to our hearts lately, and daunting us, as realistic global conditions are increasingly exposed. We will listen to a recent audio from Shift in Action Essential Series. Click on this link to listen to listen to it if you are a Shift in Action Partner. We
will also inquire into Elisabet Sahtouris article
Seven Reasons Why I Remain an Optimist, which gives us 7 points to
contemplate and discuss. Download the PDF at this link above to read the
article. We will have focus questions and a conversation format for you,
weaving it into a night of potluck, community and networking. 2. We create our own reality and nature shows the way. 3. Youth have the unprecedented power to create the world they want. 4. When there is no money people are still achieving thier dreams. 5. Economies are beginning to be
measured in quality of life. 7. Global Warming can become our greatest peace process. Come join us. Please note that
Elisabet will be giving a workshop at Hollyhock, in British Columbia,
Canada on Sept 15-20, entitled Living
Systems: Key to a Thriving Future. |
