"Sharif is very powerful and a speaker well worth hearing. I have never felt such powerful energy from any single individual in my entire life." -Jeff W, Sustainable Bellingham

The challenges facing us (social, cultural, environmental and spiritual) seem nearly insurmountable.  But, surmount them we must.  We cannot respond to our global challenges with the same consciousness that created them in the first place.  Our consciousness must shift… but how? To what degree?  Whose consciousness has to shift?  And, what must we DO to bring that shift in consciousness into our everyday lives?

Together, we will examine our challenges and map out a strategy for a visionary future.

Sharif Abdullah is the Founder and Director of Commonway Institute and catalyst for inclusive social, cultural and spiritual transformation.  Sharif challenges people to rethink values, actions, and the reality of the world.  His books include Creating a World That Works for All.  Sharif is the recipient of the 2007 "Hero of Humanity Award", and has criss-crossed the planet, taking his inclusivity work to over twenty-five different countries and close to 100 distinct cultures, working with groups who struggle with their differences: heads of state and poor rice farmers, peace activists and members of militias. He has just returned from a challenging trip to Sri Lanka.

Sharif's website is www.commonway.org

Sharif Abdullah will be one of the featured speakers on May 15 for Sustainable Connections' Spring Business Conference and Expo at the Bellwether Hotel in Bellingham.
