If you are a Shift in Action member then you were mailed IONS newest book and CD, Living Deeply. You can learn more about the promotion at this link. Our IONS Community group will be integrating the Living Deeply: Art and Science of Everyday Transformation material into a new community exploration focusing on transformation. It is not necessary to purchase the book or take advantage of the great promotion though it is encouraged.

Our IONS Community group will be continuing the collective work begun at our IONS June 9 Workshop on career and life transition facilitated by Susan Burns. It was such a success that members decided to form on an ongoing group on life transition. We discovered how diverse the interests are. We also now have a social networking site dedicated to mutual support. We have posted the notes from our last meeting on the site and will continue building our mutual work together.

9/03 – IONS Living Deeply Transformation Meeting # 2

Last month, several IONS Northwest members met to begin an ongoing learning group on transformation, integrating IONS new published Living Deeply material. This group is supported by IONS staff as well as integrating the collective intelligence of the group.

Many in the group are psychotherapists and coaches as well as those who are in life and career transition. At our first meeting last month, after a great shared experience, the group decided to meet regularly for personal and community exploration, committing to complete homework for the next meeting (9/03/08). We are currently working on mapping our transformational journeys for next Wednesday's meeting.

For now, the group is still open. You are invited to join the next meeting, Wed. Sept 3, 7:00 - 9:15 pm in Bellevue (Susan Burns' counseling office at intersection of SR 520 and I-405). Suggested Fee: up to $10. Registration in advance is required. Contact Susan Burns at sburns@ionsnw.org.
